McIntosh Stables was established 40 years ago, when trainer Jim McIntosh made the decision to leave his current job to pursue his passion for training horses. In 2000, McIntosh Stables at Flat Rock Creek Farms, LLC evolved after owner Linda Lewis, and daughter, Debbie Ecksten saw a need for a full-service training facility on the northeast side of Indianapolis. They only had one trainer in mind for the job and wanted to continue the tradition of McIntosh Stables.
